2005/06 Fading memories...

9th June 2006 - Annual General Meeting at The Ram, Widcombe. The successful season was reviewed, and new officials voted - Club Captain, Dan Nicholls; Fixture Secretary, Steve Fielding; and new committee members Jim Biss, Jon Bradley and Andy Powell.

12th May 2006 - Club Dinner. See the flyer here. A very good do, as usual! Awards of the season were:

Most improved player: James Cuthbert
Clubman of the year: Steve Hiscox
Players' player (Rob Luxmore memorial trophy) : Dom Farris
Captains Award : John Bradley
Arse of the season: Rob Lawrence (for catching a ball at the Sevens tournament that had come across from another pitch, and running with it towards the try-line!). In addition, three long-standing Club members were nominated Life Vice Presidents:
Hugh Sawyer, Mike York and Dave Pyles.

7th May 2006 - Bath Combination Sevens Contest at Midsomer Norton's ground.

29th April 2006 - Phil Cheese's stag night seemed to go well - he couldn't remember anything about it! Perhaps this photo, that - for some reason he refused to put onto the photo gallery - will refresh his memory?

w/ending 21st/23rd April 2006 - "toor" trip to Tenby (West Wales). See the details here.

8th April - Coach trip to the Old Morganians league game. See the flyer here.

12th March - Sunday Lunch at the Green Park Tavern.

17th March - St Patricks Day Ball in the Green Park Tavern.

25th February - Chinese Night.

18th February - Rearranged VP Day - It was good to see a few old faces watching the close-fought Old E's league game - John Kernaghan was "VP of the day", and duly downed his awarded pint!

28th January 2006 - 10 pin bowling night at Longwell Green.

Sat 10th December - The Xmas Draw was at the Sulis Club. See the list of prizewinners here.

Sat 3rd December - Vice Presidents day was unfortunately a damp squib - the game was cancelled because of the pitch being waterlogged. Apologies to those VPs who didn't get the information - but at least a couple of you got chance for a chat in a (relatively empty) bar. In fact Brian Oliver sent in the following match report:-
"John Kernaghan and I made it - his first round, my second - no conversions!"

Sun 27th November - Another Sunday lunch!!! (see flyer attached) - this time at the Hop Pole real ale pub in Bath.

Thurs 20th October - Quiz Nite! See attached flyer. Due to complications at the Sulis club, it was re-arranged at Lambretta’s, but unfortunately was not well attended - problem with Thursday nights?

Sat 15th October - Bath Beer Festival, at the Pavilion, Bath. Attended by a few hardy boozers!

20th August 2005 - The Team Train ride seemed to go well.... catch the writeup here.
